I would start with Shah Rukh Khan’s performance, which is one of the best parts of the movie. The ‘King Khan’ has done a great job, if not exceptional, to give this Rahul Dholakia’s directorial a huge lift. SRK has definitely worked hard to become the character, the gangster with a golden heart, Raees, which is seen in every frame.
The action scenes are awesome and would keep you hooked.
Shah Rukh fans would love him, right from his mind-blowing entry till the end of the film. Being a romantic hero, Shah Rukh shines in the those scenes, while he’s with the love of his life, the pretty Mahira Khan.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is another best part of this action packed thriller. He delivers dialogues with a shine in his eyes, which is unique for him.
Dialogues are crispy and clear. “Koi dhandha chota nahi hota, Aur dhandhe se bada koi dharm nahi hota”(No profession is small and no religion is bigger than work), “Taane ki chai peene ka aadat rako…kaam aajayega”(Get used to drinking police station’s tea, it’ll help you later) etc are some samples for you!
Songs are good, but Shah Rukh and Mahira make them extraordinary, by doing some fantastic dance moves. They look beautiful together, especially in ‘Udi Udi Jaye’ and ‘Zaalima’.
Sunny Leone wouldn’t disappoint you either, with her item number, ‘Laila Main Laila’ (Btw, she looks gorgeous on the silver screen)!
To conclude, I would say that this flick is a treat for all Shah Rukh Khan’s fans, as it’s filled with all the masala contents, which is required for a full-on entertainer!
